Freycinet Lodge Review

These 60 plush cabins are scattered through the densely wooded forest of Great Oyster Bay. They range from relatively simple one-bedroom units to "Premier Wineglass cabins," which have double hot tubs, CD players, and fluffy bathrobes. All have private balconies, and are outfitted with Tasmanian wood furnishings. The on-site Bay Restaurant ($$-$$$) has breathtaking sunset views, as well as an extensive wine list; the more casual Richardson's is the place for light lunches and coffee, while Hazards Bar and Lounge is a relaxing place to swap stories or curl up with a book by the open fire.
