Esplanade Hotel Fremantle Review

Part of a colonial-era hotel, this establishment has provided accommodation for more than a century. The impressive property is split into three wings; Atrium, Resort, and Southern Cross and 80% of the rooms have balconies facing either the park and harbor, Essex St, or the pool. Cafe Panache offers fine dining and High Tea on Sunday, the Atrium Garden Restaurant is surrounded by foliage, has a lavish buffet, and hosts an annual Croatian food festival at the end of May each year. Desks and in-room broadband cater for business travelers while pleasure-seekers will enjoy the hotel's proximity to the heart of Fremantle.

    good location

As mentioned in the Fodor’s review, this hotel is intended for the business traveler. In fact, I was there for a conference. The rooms are modern and pleasant, much like any other nice modern hotel. The location is very good – a short walking distance from several waterfront restaurants and sites, and also near the Fremantle market.
