Desert Palms Resort Review

Although just a few minutes' walk from the center of Alice Springs, this resort property feels a million miles away from the red desert. Dip your toes in the 24-hour island pool with a waterfall and you might just stay put, lounging and gazing up at the umbrella-like palm trees and red-and-pink bougainvillea. Accommodation, should you choose to get out of the water, is in self-contained, freestanding A-frame units set up as double, triple, quad, and family villas, each with a private balcony. Guests can dine at the adjacent Alice Springs Golf Club or cook a BBQ on the facilities provided.
