Oneta Resort Review
Adventure-meets-intimacy-meets-science at Kadavu's newest addition, opened in summer 2008 on Ono Island. Practically surrounded by the Astrolabe Reef, the six-bure all-inclusive is owned in part by two northern Italian marine biology professors who will occasionally teach courses and conduct research at the resort's small lab. Honeymoon bures have king-size beds, dual sinks, outdoor showers; one also has an indoor shower, and a TV with VCR. The cuisine is a fusion of traditional Fijian fare and Italian classics made with ingredients including organic vegetables and homegrown chicken and pork.
