Two Bank of New Zealand branches inside the international terminal of Auckland International Airport are open for all arriving and departing flights. In the city, there are several currency-exchange agencies on Queen Street between Victoria and Customs streets offering the same rate as banks. The cashier's desk on the main gaming floor at Sky City is open 24 hours and exchanges currency.

ATMs are easily found throughout the city's central neighborhoods, and traveler's checks are widely accepted.
