Centre of Contemporary Art (COCA) Review
This gallery has a long history of showing contemporary works by Canterbury artists—it was founded as the Canterbury Society of Arts back in 1880. Now their shows mix established names with up-and-coming, mainly Kiwi, artists. COCA was damaged in the earthquakes but is not within the cordons. At this writing it's closed but they plan to exhibit in a temporary gallery at 241 Moorhouse Ave. until their own building is repaired, so check the website for updates.
