The Classic Villa Review
This bright-pink, Italian-style villa, directly opposite the Arts Centre, is one of Christchurch's cooler spots to stay. Rooms are stylishly decorated and the amenities and services are tops. Breakfast is either traditional or Mediterranean style with lots of fruit, cheeses, and cold meats, and is served at the big kitchen table downstairs. The super deluxe suite has a separate lounge and is a real home-away-from-home. The sheltered courtyard is a wonderfully private spot for an evening drink. Children under 12 are not allowed, but exceptions are made for babies under six months.
