Te Toi Mana Gallery
Te Toi Mana Gallery Review
Te Toi Mana Gallery was located in the Arts Centre and, like so many other places, has become inaccessible. Maori artist Riki Manuel, who often carved there, is now setting up his own Taa Moko studio (taa moko is the art of Maori tattoo). The gallery focuses on traditional and contemporary Maori art and is a good place to find creative souvenirs and travel mementos. They plan to reopen elsewhere in the near future; contact them by email for details.
