Folks come here for breakfast and lunch every day of the week and you might have to wait a bit during holiday time, but locals think it's worth it. For breakfast, "The Classic" (bacon, sausages, eggs, fried potatoes, tomato, and toast) will set most people up for the day. At lunch you'll find simple dishes such as roasted root vegetables with dips and bread, or seafood chowder, a staple for regulars. The Hummingbird Cake—a banana, pineapple, and coconut cake, laden with cream cheese icing—goes extremely well with a bowl of latte. The coffee is good. Jasmine vines cloak the front porch of this adorable 1890 miner's cottage.
