Holiday Inn Rotorua Review

From the massive but welcoming entrance foyer with its giant stone fireplace, to the thermal and lake views from the tower wing, this hotel spells class. Next to the Whakarewarewa reserve, it runs a complimentary shuttle service to town. The superb Pohutu Cultural Theatre inside the hotel, with its carvings and giant statue of the Maori deity Maui, is home to a colorful nightly concert and hangi feast (meal cooked in an earth oven or over a steam vent). At Chapmans Restaurant ($$$), you can indulge in the prime Hereford beef fillet with rosemary and garlic potato or sample the extensive buffet.
