New Plymouth's oldest commercial building houses what many consider the town's finest restaurant. For 14 years it has been a recipient of the prestigious Hallmark of Excellence NZ Beef and Lamb Award. The menu is a mix of updated classic southern French and contemporary New Zealand cuisine. Try the signature French Burgundy Snails, Le Poulet au Citron, and half-cured beef Provençal. Top French, New Zealand, and Australian wines are available.
