Bushy Park Forest Reserve Review
This B&B is in a grand old Edwardian homestead, surrounded by ancient forest of the Bushy Park Trust native bird sanctuary. Accommodatiosn in the homestead include six spacious bedrooms (with shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities), a formal dining room, several lounges, and a television lounge. The homestead's Category One Heritage status restricts significant changes; the rooms are grand but extremely hard to heat in winter (panel heaters and open fires do their best). Rates include continental breakfast; dinner can be prearranged. During summer a cafe opens during the day. During summer the reserve is open to day visitors (9-5).
