Amisfield Winery & Bistro Review
Amisfield Winery & Bistro is a recent hot-shot addition to the Queenstown winery scene. Both the wines and the restaurant, which serves French Basque cuisine, have earned a strong reputation. The restaurant, in a huge stone-and-timber building with a sunny courtyard and reflection pool, opens for early dinners as well as lunch, although it closes around 8 pm. Pinot noir, aromatic whites such as riesling and pinot grigio, and the methode traditionelle are all worth sampling.
