Aldourie Lodge Review
With a fireplace, clawfoot bathtub, lake views, and library, this enchanting house is the perfect place to unwind. The owners Graeme and Carolyn Murray saved Lake Tekapo's oldest cottage from being torn down and renovated it, retaining the character while adding modern luxuries. The view is superb. The price is for two people; each additional guest is NZ$35. Inquire about the Murrays' other properties, which are just as delightful and cozy. (The Garden Cottage, across the street, has the Prime Minister and a member of royalty in its guest book!)
