Sasanoki Japanese Kitchen Review
It's cheating to say this is the best Japanese place in Wanaka as it's the only one...but this new take-out eatery really is a big hit amongst the locals. The most popular dish is the teriyaki chicken, and the Japanese chef serves dishes such as salmon sushi, crumbed fish, eel, and inari (tofu). If it's a chilly day you can get a miso soup for a two-dollar coin.
