$$$-$$$$, New Zealand, Nelson
Fodor's Review:
The name is no gimmick: this genuine boat shed perches on wooden piles with the tide lapping below. The restaurant offers what they call an "Aotearoa" menu, showcasing Kiwi cuisine. Freshly harvested crab, crayfish, and green-lipped mussels are all standouts. There's local art on display, and on Wednesday evenings in summer you can watch the local sunset yacht racing from the balcony.
