Boulcott Street Bistro Review

A well-respected institution on the Wellington dining scene, this old colonial-style house conveys tradition. Entrees such as the fillet Bearnaise with red wine jus and desserts like macadamia and chocolate semifreddo with caramelised honey pears will satisfy the most discerning palate.

    Boulcott Street Bistro Review

Fantastic restaurant in a quaint setting. There is a great atmosphere to this place when you walk in, it's compact and cosy with the hum of people talking over dinner.
The fillet steak with Bearnaise sauce is always a great choice. There is a 4-5 page wine list, and also a fully stocked bar with knowledgeable service.

    First meal down under

After 30 hours of traveling from Canada, we came straight here for dinner. Food was very good, staff very friendly, and the building is very comfortable. One of my favorite restaurants in NZ.
