A wooden-beam roof and oiled floorboards give this former warehouse on the wharf a nautical feel -- you can get close to the water, too, outside on the large harborfront deck. Inside or out, it's a lively spot, particularly on Friday nights, when a DJ often spins to a packed house. The menu changes daily but has a seafood bias, with such options as char-grilled Akaroa salmon served with bocconcini (small balls of fresh mozzarella).

Loud bar, and impossible to talk over dinner. Potatoes came cold, so waitress put the meal in the microwave! She took forever to do anything! Horrible place to eat!
