Halswell Lodge Review

For restaurant, theater, and cinema going, you can't beat this hotel's location, right by the eastern end of Courtenay Place. And you'll find it hard to beat the prices. Standard hotel rooms at the front of the building are small and functional. Motel units are set farther back, each with a kitchenette (two have whirlpool baths). Finally, a restored 1920s villa is at the rear of the property. Six superior rooms (four with whirlpool baths) have cane chairs, burnished wood furnishings, and antique wardrobes. You can use the villa kitchen to prepare light meals.
