Bank hours are weekdays from 8 to 4:30; the Caribbean Mercantile Bank at the airport is open all day Saturday and Sunday morning. The central post office in Oranjestad is across from the San Francisco Church and is open weekdays from 7:30 to noon and 1 to 4:30. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 or 9 to 6. Some stores stay open through the lunch hour (noon to 2), and many open when cruise ships are in port on Sunday and holidays. Most of the larger supermarkets are open on Sunday from 8 to noon.
