Paradise Cove Review

Devoted snorkelers and peace-lovers seek out this offbeat location. Owned by a local family, Paradise Cove has rebuilt two two-bedroom stilted cottages damaged in the 2005 hurricane demise. (Lower rates are available for those wanting to rent the cottages as a one-bedroom with the other room locked off.) The two-bedroom units hold up to six, but there's a $50 fee per person over two. The small property is the only lodging on Deadman's Reef, quiet and far removed from the resort world. By day, activity mounts as snorkelers arrive by bus. The comfortable, nicely decorated accommodations have full kitchens. There's a protected stretch of beach, and snorkeling gear is available for a fee. Kayaks are available for your use.
