West End Review
Once a rowdy, good-time resort area, West End still attracts party folk every Sunday night for street feting. Today's reputation, however, rests more firmly on its charter fishing. Day visitors stop at one of the bayfront conch shacks for conch salad straight from the shell or at one of the other tiny eateries along the way. Overnighters stay at Old Bahama Bay Resort & Yacht Harbour, a gated resort. If you come for breakfast or lunch at its beach bar, you are allowed use of its small but pretty sand beach and water-sports opportunities.
