Pier One Review

Blown down in the 2004 hurricanes, Pier One is back with a sturdier building decorated with the old trademark nautical paraphernalia. Diners have their choice of picnic tables around the balcony or inside the spacious dining and bar area. Popular with cruise-ship passengers because of its location at the port entrance, the restaurant also hosts shark feedings nightly at 7, 8, and 9. To go with this activity, order specialties such as smoked shark, shark fritters, blackened lemon shark fillet, or shark curry with bananas. The extensive menus also offer mussels, panfried mahi, grouper cordon bleu, lobster and mushrooms with cream, chicken curry, fettuccini with seafood, and steaks.
