On the north side of Fresh Creek, a block or so east of the bridge, this restaurant and bar is shaded by coconut palms and graced with clear views of the water. Bahamian specialties -- panfried grouper, baked hog snapper, and fresh conch salad -- make it a favorite hangout for locals and visitors. Fresh lobster, prepared to your liking, is available in season (August-March). Hank's signature cocktail, aptly named "Hanky Panky," is a dynamite frozen rum and fruit juice concoction. If you're looking for a cheap stay, Hank has four air-conditioned guest rooms for rent. He also rents flats boats and he can arrange fishing guides.
