Fodor's Review:
How long this serene relaxed way of life will last is now open to debate, as Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club, being developed by the Discovery Land Company, will cover the previously pristine northwestern corner of the cay. The development received the green light from the Bahamas Supreme Court in October 2006, against the wishes of many community members. The resort will have more than 6 mi of shoreline that will include more than 300 beachfront homesites and a 180-slip marina with surrounding commercial village and luxurious cottages and bungalows. The Ocean Club will have a sprawling clubhouse with fine and casual dining, spa and gym facilities, and a Tom Fazio-designed golf course. Some Ocean Club facilities and services opened at the end of 2006, and construction of the marina began then as well. More facilities are planned to open throughout 2007.
