Fodor's Review:
Shoot some pool and enjoy West Indian specialties such as curry chicken at this local favorite. Walls are covered with license plates and bumper stickers, and the surfboards hanging from the ceiling have been stowed there by surfer regulars. Elvina's husband, known around these parts as "Chicken Ed," is from Louisiana, and the jambalaya here is the real thing. Be sure to call ahead, as Elvina and Ed don't open every night. There's karaoke on Tuesday and Friday nights, and Lenny Kravitz, who owns a home nearby, may show up with friends such as Denzel Washington in tow.
