From its perch on a rocky bluff overlooking White Sound, this romantic hilltop hideaway provides sweeping views of the sheltered harbor or the Sea of Abaco. The split-level suites have tropical-style wicker furniture, parquet-inlay floors, and double doors opening onto balconies with sensational ocean vistas. Even more spacious are the two- and three-bedroom villas, with huge screened-in verandas overlooking the marina. Or go for the ultimate decadence with the three-bedroom Yachtsman's Cottage, which is ideal for families or couples traveling together. Formal dinners are still served by reservation only in the dining room, although hours are irregular. The open-air, natural pine cocktail lounge and library is a tranquil spot for an afternoon or predinner cocktail.
