Devonshire Parish

Hilly Devonshire Parish may be the geographical center of the island, but it is far off the beaten track compared to the attractions -- and distractions -- of Hamilton or St. George's. Hence most travelers merely pass through it. Serious sports enthusiasts are an exception to the rule; the National Equestrian Centre, National Sports Centre, and Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club (site of the world-class Bermuda Masters tournament) are all here. Others who linger will be rewarded by pastoral "away from it all" walks in small preserves like the Montpelier Arboretum and Edmund Gibbons Nature Reserve.
