Everything about Aqua is wonderfully romantic. Set on the island's southern coast, it has spectacular views overlooking a lovely beach and the endless Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy an unforgettable alfresco dining experience at one of the many tables on the large, covered deck, right next to the waves, or savor the view from the warmth of the dining room. The colors inside emulate the turquoise and deep-blue hues of the ocean. Blue glassware complements the white tablecloths, the white-wood beams, and slate flooring of the porch. The varied and ever-changing menu takes you on a journey through Europe, the Far East, and the Caribbean. For starters, the sugar-cured beef carpaccio on roasted peppers with cashews and parsnip chips is beyond compare. Seafood addicts should go for the panfried scallops on arugula. The choices of delectable entrées make a decision difficult: tandoori-spiced rack of lamb with citrus yogurt on cumin flat bread is a winner, as is panfried snapper on soba noodles with pickled-ginger sauce. Aqua is sometimes closed for lunch in winter.
