Coco Reef Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Coco Reef is at one end of highly desirable Elbow Beach. Staying here, then, you get to enjoy the restaurants and explore the large grounds of the immediate neighbor, Elbow Beach resort. This would make it a bargain, except that Coco Reef, a much simpler hotel, still charges nearly as much as Elbow Beach. No matter, the views are dazzling: few rooms on the island are as closely set to the beach. A few steps beyond the multimirrored lobby is a pool terrace providing another dramatic vista. Two peach two-story buildings -- one beachfront, the other slightly up hill -- have tiled rooms with wicker furniture, colorful aqua-and-peach floral quilts, and plastic furniture on the outdoor patios and balconies. So what, the rooms aren't stylish, but the beach is, stretching almost a mile to Coral Beach Tennis Club. This is also the closest beach resort to Hamilton town. PROS: close to the beach, nice pool, steps from Elbow Beach's restaurants. CONS: limited restaurants on-site, expensive for what you get.

  • In-hotel: restaurant, tennis courts, bar, pool, laundry service, beachfront.
