Bermuda Restaurants

Somerset Country Squire

Somerset Country Squire Review

Overlooking Mangrove Bay, this typically English tavern is all dark wood and good cheer, with a great deal of malt and hops in between. Much of the food isn't good enough to warrant a special trip across the island, but some of it is: Bermuda fish chowder, panfried dolphin, and steak-and-kidney pie are all delicious. The in-house nightly specials are another draw. Watch out for steak and chips, and beer-battered fish and chips for $12 on Monday and Wednesday, and the Fish Friday deals, where you can get wahoo, tuna, dolphin, or rockfish for approximately $17. There's usually live entertainment on Saturday night, too.
