Getting Here and Around
Getting Here and Around
The only way to get to Jost Van Dyke is by ferry or private boat. Day-sail operators, both in the USVI and the BVI, take guests here daily, and there are regularly scheduled ferries from West End, Tortola (25 minutes), St. John (30 minutes), and St. Thomas (60 minutes, via St. John). Ferries from Tortola run several times daily from West End; the St. Thomas/St. John ferry runs generally just once a day and not every day. Always check the schedules as they change. Once on the ground, you can walk most everywhere you might need to go, but you can also hire a taxi driver.
