There's no nonstop service from the continental United States to the BVI; connections are usually made through San Juan, Puerto Rico, or St. Thomas. You can also fly to Anegada and Virgin Gorda; these flights may originate in San Juan, St. Thomas, or Tortola.

All three of the BVI's airports -- on Tortola (TOV), Virgin Gorda (VIJ), and Anegada (no code) -- are classic Caribbean and almost always sleepy. However, the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport terminal at Beef Island can get crowded when several departures are scheduled close together.
