The ocean around the Península de Ancón holds plenty of coral, the most accessible of which lies a mere 300 meters (985 feet) offshore from the Hotel Costasur.

The Centro de Buceo Puertosol, in the marina across from the Hotel Ancón, takes people to more than 20 dive spots (60 cuc for equipment rental), including a shipwreck and several large coral reefs; it also offers certification courses (200 cuc).
