Museo Provincial (Provincial Museum)
Museo Provincial (Provincial Museum) Review
To the north of the Biblioteca, a house built by one of the city's first mayors in 1740 is now the Museo Provincial. The building itself, with its decorated walls and high wooden ceilings, is as much an attraction as the exhibits it holds, which are devoted primarily to the wars of independence and the Revolution. There are also some gruesome reminders of the days of slavery.
