Museo Granjita Siboney
Museo Granjita Siboney Review
The Museo Granjita Siboney, a few kilometers east of the cutoff to La Gran Piedra, is housed in the farmhouse where Castro and his cohorts met (having hid their weapons in a well here) before attacking the Moncada Barracks. The farmhouse is on a large, shady piece of land. The museum inside commemorates the event with photos, news articles, documents, blood-stained clothing, and weapons. Twenty-six memorials to the attack line the road from here to Santiago.
