Meliá Varadero Review

This was the first luxury hotel to go up in Varadero, and it remains in the top tier of area resorts. Its six wings fan out from a lush circular atrium, and the quality of the rooms and restaurants doesn't disappoint. Each room has a balcony, and the best have sweeping ocean views. More than any other resort in Varadero, this one attempts to bring Cuban culture to the Hicacos Peninsula. It's one of the sites of Havana's December international film festival, and the National Ballet of Cuba as well as leading musical performers and personalities appear here regularly.
