Punta Cana Sights

Punta Cana

Punta Cana Review

The area encompasses Cabeza de Torres, Playa Bavaro, and continues all the way around the peninsula to Playa de Uvero Alto. Each hotel has its own strip of sand with rows of chaise longues, and you can call in advance for a day pass. The stretch between Club Med and the Puntacana Resort and Club is one of the most beautiful. Playa El Cortecito is more how life used to be, with fishermen bringing in their catch. The public beach at Macao is no longer a good option, having been taken over by four-wheeler excursions. A rough road leads to more-deserted stretches in the Uvero Alto area, but outside of the resorts there are few services.
