Excellence Punta Cana Review

Originally, known to be a sumptuous lovers' lair, this adults-only all-inclusive is particularly appealing to couples (particularly honeymooners) and wedding parties, and it now attracts a younger clientele. Wedding ceremonies (more than 250 each year) are held at the dainty gazebo or on the heavenly beach. A gorgeous spa—with a Zen fountain, indulgent massages, and other well-given treatments, plus hot-and-cold-water tubs—attends to soothing body and mind. The gym and yoga center (Pilates, too) are impressive. All the spacious suites have double Jacuzzis. Honeymooners may appreciate round-the-clock room service, but if you're inclined to go out, there's a full range of water sports and other activities, including guided horseback rides. No reservations are required at any of the restaurants.

    My wife and I spent our ten year anniversary at The Excellence in Punta Cana and we have a very enjoyable and memorable time. The pool was great. The food at most of the restaurants was excellent. The wait staff was very good.
