The adventure starts with a short boat ride as you leave the beautiful shore of Bávaro in the background, where you can spend some of your day lingering on the beach if you choose, before or after a swim with the dolphins or sea lions. The main program includes instruction, a show, and a 25-minute swim with snorkel gear in calm, protected waters with the adorable dolphins or sea lions. You must be eight or older to swim, and no pregnant women are allowed, but no special skills are required. Snorkeling gear and a flotation vest are provided. A DVD capturing your experience will be available to buy as a souvenir. Sessions are at 9 am and 2 pm daily; in high season there's an additional session at 4 pm. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance and one books it through his resort's activity desk. Free shuttles depart from the hotels. It's expensive but it is a vacation memory to be underwater and hear these gentle creatures sing and "talk," and when they surface they give wet kisses.
