The best hotel in downtown Santiago attracts business travelers with its great business center and executive level with panoramic city views, but the pool and sundeck, fitness room, steam and sauna, and Asian-inspired massage services are equally attractive to tourists. Guest rooms are large but utilitarian, and could use some colorful and cheery accessories. Yet nice bedding and plush pillows let you sleep with the angels. It's worth the additional charge to stay on the executive floor: the rooms have a clean, modern look, and a 30-minute massage and a free nightly happy hour are included. At the lobby level, a most appealing breakfast buffet with excellent service is an option; by night, you can enjoy a meal or Spanish-style tapas in the Bar & Meson or fusion cuisine at Boka.
