Casa Valeria Review

Evoking Mexico, this salmon-colored adobe, housing a hotel and a restaurant, is a standout in this quiet neighborhood. Wrought-iron gates open to a courtyard that's candlelit by night, and most of the simple accommodations face the pool in the rear garden. The proud owners are a Dutch couple. Some of the rooms have hand-painted tropical murals; poolside rooms are the best and have patios. This inn may be cheap, but it's not sleazy, and is a great value.
