Neptuno's Club

Neptuno's Club Review

Once a simple seafood spot, beautifully situated on the water, Neptuno's is now trendy and redecorated with some South Beach flair. A ladder goes down to the sea from a platform for daytime dips, but there are no chaises. Most of the food is, of course, from the sea, creative, and not inexpensive. The menu includes Asian dishes such as the complex shrimp Thai salad, as well as a range of pastas—mainly with shellfish, grilled lobster, and even a few grilled meat offerings. Service can be efficient or not, but the food is always fresh and impressive. Neptuno's is a good option for a waterfront lunch or dinner outside of Santo Domingo, but if you are not a member of the capitaleno "in crowd," you will not be treated as well.
