Calabash Hotel Review
The posh suites here are in 10 two-story cottages distributed in a horseshoe around 8 acres of lawn and gardens that hug the beach on Prickly Bay (L'Anse aux Épines). Each suite has a spacious bedroom and sitting area, along with an entertainment system that includes a flat-screen TV, DVD, and iPod docking station. Two-thirds of the suites have whirlpool baths; eight have private plunge pools. Each day, your personal maid serves breakfast on your balcony or patio. Fruit is served on the beach each morning, and canapés are delivered to your suite in the evening. Each arriving guest receives a voucher for a complimentary back and neck massage at the Heaven & Earth Spa, built on a ledge overlooking the beach. The famed Rhodes Restaurant serves memorable cuisine.
