Negril Beach Review

Stretching for 7 mi (11 km), the long, white-sand beach in Negril is probably Jamaica's finest. It starts with the white sands of Bloody Bay north of town and continues along Long Bay all the way to the cliffs on the southern edge of town. Some stretches remain undeveloped, but these are increasingly few. Along the main stretch of beach, the sand is public to the high-water mark, so a nonstop line of visitors and vendors parade from end to end. The walk is sprinkled with many good beach bars and open-air restaurants, some of which charge a small fee to use their beach facilities. Bloody Bay is lined with large all-inclusive resorts, and these sections are mostly private. Jamaica's best-known nude beach, at Hedonism II, is always among the busiest; only resort guests or day-pass holders may sun here. Amenities: food and drink; lifeguards; parking; toilets; showers; water sports. Best for: partiers; sunset; swimming; walking.

    Negril Beach Review

    I just returned from getting married in Negril Jamaica. I got married on the beach and my pictures are breath taking. For anyone who wants to get married in the Caribbean, go to Negril. I got married on CocoLaPalm Resort and the staff made my day memorable. I had a total of 15 family and friends to celebrate our big day with us. We booked our travel with Turners Tours. All of the drivers were waiting for us when we arrived. It was so nice to walk out of the airport and see them with Jackson Wedding party indicated on the signs. The staff at Turner's were all excellent. My husband and I highly recommend them (Carlton Turner is the owner drivercturner@yahoo.com Negril is a great place and wonderful places to tour and see. If you plan a trip to Negril, you will not be disappointed. We will be celebrting our 1 year anniversary there.

    Best we've ever experienced

    My wife and I have stayed up and down the 7-mile beach, most recently at Point Village, and it's as good as it gets. All the stories about Jamaica being unsafe are totally off-base. The people there are some of the finest I've met anywhere, trustworthy and hard-working. We'll go again!
