This moderately priced SuperClubs resort, which underwent an extensive renovation and expansion in late 2006, emphasizes an active, sports-oriented vacation -- including golf (at the resort's own course), a circus workshop, tennis, horse-and-carriage rides, and an array of water sports. Expert instruction and top-rate equipment are part of the package. Guests -- often Germans, Italians, and Japanese -- flock here to dive and snorkel around the reef off the beach, which also makes the bay superbly smooth for swimming. There's also a good golf school.

We reserved and paid for an Ocean front suite at Breezes 6 months in advance. Upon arrival in Jamaica was told no rooms were available at Breezes and was forced to be relocated to a substandard, 40% occupied resort and given a standard room with no view of the ocean. Was refused any compensation by Breezes and later by SuperClubs head office. SuperClubs overbooks rooms and/or randomly selects people to be relocated to low occupancy resorts and then will not compensate you. I was cheated out of waht I paid for and will definitely never go to a SuperClubs resort again.
