Half Moon, A Rockresort Review
With its many room categories, massive villas (with three to seven bedrooms), shopping village, hospital, school, dolphin attraction, golf course, and equestrian center, Half Moon seems more like a town than a mere resort. What started out in 1954 as a group of private beach cottages offered for rent during off-season months has blossomed into one of Jamaica's biggest resorts. This is the hotel where Prince Harry stayed during his 2012 royal tour. Those beach cottages are still available, and because they are just steps away from the sand as well as public areas, they remain a great choice. The resort is also home to the luxurious Fern Tree spa.
