English and Spanish are spoken. Surf- and body boards (with fins) can also be rented for three hours for EUR 14, or EUR 24 for the day. UPCA Vauclin (Le Plage, Le Vauclin. 0596/74-33-68. www.ucpa.com) rents out windsurfing boards at slightly better prices than most other outfitters.
