Calebasse Café
Calebasse Café Review
Calebasse Café pleases a diverse, mostly older, crowd. Jazz is the norm, and there's often a talented local singer. Funky and hip, the interior is a bit rough but civilized. On Saturday night, if you don't make a reservation you will not have a seat. The food here isn't wonderful, but if you have the conch tart and the grilled lobster, you'll leave satisfied and avoid the cover charge. It's closed Monday year-round; in the low season it's also closed on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
