A large two-story shopping complex designed like a plantation house, Domaine Château Gaillard sells handicrafts and tropical floral compositions at its nursery. You can also find pottery, jewelry, toys, paintings, and food, including coffee and chocolate—there's a small museum chronicling both island products. Antique creole hats and madras items are on display, too. A petite train for the kids is there for the touring. A boutique with Wi-Fi helps keep you connected. There is even a heliport, and Héli Blue (0596/66-10-80, www.heliblue.com) gives great 'copter tours of the island.
